The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering providers for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency stated it really is alarmed with regard to the significant number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your higher number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office committed to service the area each day. The service stage made for intervention ordeals a large inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for your Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service SRD point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more resources to enable the servicing of all consumers and increase access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
